What’s up with Downstream, by Cindy Vincent

Do you want to hear some really awesome music? Well come on out and see Downstream play. Downstream is a band that has live shows here locally in the Chattanooga area as well as sometimes in Alabama as well as other places. They just packed out the Applebee’s on Shallowford Village Rd March 17th and you can often catch them playing at Bud’s. Chris Hancock  handles the lead vocals , Nathan Loveless does an awesome job on the guitar, Curtis Anthony playing bass and Wes Hartman on the drums.

The band came together and started playing in 2004 and released their first CD in  July of 2007 titled “Forsaken.” Following that with the release of the “Darkest Hour” CD in March 2009.  “What You Have Become “ and “Replaced “  were chosen for the movie soundtrack” Thick as Thieves” which was produced by Brig and Pictures. Also have been opening acts for Shinedown , Candlebox , 12 Stones, Days of the New, Neurosonic among others.

You can check out Downstream band on My Space.com, Facebook.com and YouTube.com. There is a list of their show schedules as well as contact information to book a show.
