Love, Money, Miley, Album Review by Ciara Black

Miley Cyrus released a new album called “Bangerz” early this October. It is a big change from Miley’s other albums like “Can’t Be Tamed” in 2011, and “Breakout” in 2008.

Bangerz is a pop album filled with songs that most people say is about her ex fiancé Iam Hemsworth. In the song “Wreaking Ball”, which is one of the most popular songs on the cd, she sings about how he broke her heart. Also the song “Maybe Your Right” is directed towards him, she says “Maybe you think I’m crazy… here comes the part where we are arguing about nothing…it’s time for me to move on…”

What does it take to make a good album? Well in Miley’s case it’s being heartbroken. She sings about her problems and some people can relate to and that is what makes good music.

This album can be compared to Britney Spears’ album Femma Fatale, they both come back with a different sound, and the two CDs have almost the same sound. Miley is following the footsteps of Britney Spears in a way by acting out and making a huge comeback. Miley and Britney do a duet to the song “Bangerz” which can also tell you that she wants to work with Britney. “Bangerz” is a great album and Miley’s voice is very incredible, it is worth listening to. “#GETITRIGHT” and “Love, Money, Party” is the top songs on the album, they are upbeat and very catchy, and they will be stuck in your head for days. Miley is very good at coming out with catchy songs that everyone will talk about. Her attitude towards all the negativity is very inspirational because she doesn’t really care what people have to say about her, she is doing what she loves and she is going to continue to sing no matter what.
